We are fully licensed, insured, and regulated by Cheshire East Council, with all certificates proudly displayed in our studio. Using hospital-grade sterilisation equipment and private tattoo and piercing areas, your safety and comfort are always our priority.
Our Story
Artmageddon Tattoo Studio was founded by Dave and Yvonne, combining backgrounds in graphic design, marketing, executive administration, and clinical practice to create a unique, client-focused studio. What began as the “apocalyptink front” has grown into a three-floor studio in the heart of Macclesfield.
Meet the Artists
Dave: Comic book inspired tattooist, specialising in DC and Marvel pieces.
James: Known for bold neo-traditional colour work, delicate mandalas, and anime tattoos.
Julian: Talented portrait artist, renowned for his black and grey realism.
Yvonne: Licensed professional piercer, with over a decade of experience and continuous professional training.
Before settling into our current Church Street studio, we began on Chestergate. Along the way, we were fortunate to work with and be supported by Simon Howarth , our friend, mentor, and artist who is no longer with us but whose influence remains a part of our story.
